Dr. Saurav Das
Researcher & founder building AI infrastructure for agriculture.
Bio
I hold a Ph.D. in Microbiology with a focus on soil and water science in agricultural systems. My research background drives how I think about building technology — grounded in real science, designed for real operations.
I'm building practical systems that connect research data, field context, and decision workflows for growers and agricultural operators. The goal: make soil and agronomic intelligence usable in the field, not just in reports.
What I'm Building
- Now Soil Health Exchange — product layer for soil insights and field-level recommendations.
- Now OpenAgData — data infrastructure layer for agriculture research + model workflows.
- Now TerraValue — land valuation intelligence for agricultural parcels.
- Concept FarmDeck — farm operating marketplace for inputs, equipment, rentals, and services.
- R&D Carbon + microbe model tracks designed for iterative improvement with practical deployment gates.
Products
Side Projects
- Thermodynamic Memory Architecture — self-evolving memory system for LLM agents that maximizes decision quality per unit compute.
- Brahmanda — a Vedic universe simulation engine with LLM-powered conscious agents exploring emergent civilizations and belief systems.
Writing
- 2026 The Economics of a Post-AI World — 92 million jobs displaced by 2030, a K-shaped economy, and the policy mechanisms needed to distribute AI's gains broadly. Part I
- 2026 Social Coin: A Contribution Economy — A two-layer reward system that recognizes the $12 trillion in invisible care, creativity, and community work society performs for free. Part II
- 2026 Brahmanda: Can Agents Discover Science? — A living Vedic universe experiment where LLM-powered souls observe, theorize, and validate truths about a world they inhabit — and what it asks about the nature of reality.
- 2026 WDMA: Weighted Developmental Memory Architecture — A theoretical framework for salience-gated memory encoding in AI agents — jolt-driven encoding, thermodynamic decay, and developmental plasticity modulation.
